Best Tactic: Working in Small Groups
During their class period, students actively painted on the canvas, mixed appropriate colors, and collaborated to finish the piece.
“Ms. Johnson painted and updated mural of our Middle School in Bethlehem (Delmar, NY) that is outstanding. Even more impressive however is how she involved our accelerated Studio in Art students in her process. Students truly took ownership of the final product and felt like Kiara was both mentor and Lead Artist. Thank you Kiara for your contributions to the culture and community of BCMS!”
